I'm going to give my honest opinion on the voice. Feel free to disagree. Do I like Mario's voice? Yes. However, does it mean I want him to outright replace Charles? Heck no. I can definitely work with Chris for this movie, but I cannot see him voicing Mario anywhere else.

Peach has had different voices throughout the years so another voice won't be bad…plus Anya has a good voice ..also this wasn't a reaction to the trailer is was opinions on after the trailer
I like the gura instead of raging against pratt she is emphatic, I mean is not bad that you dislike his performance is just kinda a good surprise to hear someone having other opinions instead of the usual: "he is not playing mario, he is playing himself"

I feel the Same. Toad, Bowser goof! but Pratt as Mario, his voice im the trailer hits differents. It is not bad (for me sounds like a normal voice without much effort), we didnt much of him and maybe that will do the difference. And yep, Mario voice, the original, have a HUGE and long history of many generations.

Mario sounds like he has a slight Brooklyn accent in this, and as an old school fan of Mario before the Yahoo Mario became more cannon, that was his more accepted cannon voice. I am hoping they lean into the Brooklyn accent tbh. Hits me right in the nostalgia.
I for one, am rooting for bowser in this movie.

From what little I heard of Chris Pratt's Mario in the trailer, it just sounds lazy like he didn't even try. It sounded like everyone else was actually trying. I'm just going to say this now. I love Chris Pratt as an actor in live action films, but I don't think he's going to be a very good voice actor.
