Does not work everytime. I have a kid & no support. Its too scary being alone & the law might not even give me my kid if i separate. Im educated but not strong enough mentally, physically, financially to earn n support a living. Easy to say than do when you have a responsibility. Trying to find my way smartly dealing than with emotions & truth
I'm not Indian and not a woman… This movie really helped me gain insight into both. Especially the scene of her talking to the bum, she talked herself to justifying her husband beating her ass and then blaming herself. The emotional changes in the acting were just superb.
I watched this on prime and I can say you don’t have to understand the language to understand the gravity of the domestic violence which is portrayed amazingly in this movie. Everyone’s acting was simply amazing. A amazing movie I really enjoyed it.

The trailer just reminds me of my dad. Although he doesn't beat my mom, he fights with her, yells at her, doesn't understand her and doesn't respect her. Throws things at her, breaks things at her. All these when the mistake would be most of the times his and he doesn't even regret it.

Fine, here's my opinion. I hated the acting, the storyline and the way the message was delivered. (going through so many twists for a simple and direct message)
Now I would say Aishwarya's acting was not upto the point. It's a review and you need to be honest. Supporting them should be like 'couldve been better'
