Interesting topic if politicians have low income then question becomes how do you attract capable & honest people from the society to join your ranks and because if pay is made so low how do you ensure after they get into office they will not be tempted to use their authority to take money and exchange it for favors? But if their official salary is high then why will there be a need for anybody to resort to any corruption?

Those you see on top of the ladder are very accountable they will be killed if found in any shady deals…..the rest down the ladder are the corrupt ones cos they claim to be serving without pay….so where will they make a living and care for their family? If they have businesses they will benefit from all forms of tax exemptions and it's a behaviour that brings a nation down, and it is at this point corruption begins.
