His first job was cutting grass around the neighborhood and he hung out with many of his childhood friends to who he’s still close today including 3Three, Lil Ben, as well as Boomer.

According to some references, Gaulden was charged by the United States Marshalls In Autin, Texas, on November 28, 2016, for 2 counts of attempted first-degree murder from a past incident that happened on November 2nd, 2016, in Louisiana. Reports declare that YoungBoy and another boy allegedly got out of a car and opened fire at a group of boys on the 2000 block of Kentucky Street, South Baton Rogue.

Shortly after being officially arrested and booked, Gaulden was deported to another jurisdiction and was kept on a $200,000 bond. After finishing nearly 7 months in the prison, NBA YoungBoy had a court hearing where he ended up admitting to firing a gun numerous times during the drive-by shooting that occurred on the 2000 block of Kentucky ST. on the 2nd of November 2016. 

Points after YoungBoy’s confession, the prosecutor suggested a plea agreement to Gaulden for a lesser charge in exchange for a guilty plea. The deal was that the NBA YoungBoy claimed guilty, and the existing charges would be removed to 1 count of heightened assault with a firearm instead of 2 counts of attempted second-degree murder.

After already admitting to his offenses, NBA YoungBoy took this helpful plea deal. At the end of the hearing, Judge Bonnie Jackson gave him a post-conviction bond of $50 thousand which permitted him to exit prison that day. 

Further Criminal Activities:

Once home he began releasing more tracks and his hit single Untouchable came out. On August 22, 2017, NBA YoungBoy was back in the court for sentencing. At first, the judge gave him an inspirational talk that stayed for quite some time according to people who attended the courtroom.

After that, the judge handed down a 10-year suspended jail term to him as well as 3 years of active supervised probation. Not to mention, the judge also ordered YoungBoy to complete 250 hours of community service, which includes an anti-violence public service as well as a $5 thousand fine. At the end of sentencing, YoungBoy apologized for his offenses and stated that “I made a mistake and I learned from it”.

Then in Feburary 2019, NBA YoungBoy was behind the bars due to assaulting a housekeeper by striking her in the face in Atlanta. After being released, in May of that year, he was again arrested due to gunfire charges in Miami
