In 2017, he worked in the Hindi romantic comedy film ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi.’ The Hindi film ‘Pataakha’ was the last film in which he worked. The film was released in 2018 in which he played the role of Sarpanch.

In 2013, he played the role of Sishpal Shastri in SET’s courtroom drama series ‘Adaalat.’ He played the role of Guddu Mathur in StarPlus’ medical drama series ‘Sanjivani,’ which was released in 2019.

On 15 March 2023, he died due to multiple organ failure at MM Hospital in Borivali, Mumbai at the age of 71. Reportedly, he was having respiratory issues before he was admitted to the hospital in Mumbai.
