My only question is if you have a black son ESPECIALLY during those times and you live in Chicago. WHY would you EVER SEND HIM DOWN SOUTH-?? I understand he was visiting family…. but come on. I saw this the other day, so moving and tragic had me crying at the the end. This Carolyn Bryant MUST be brought to justice fgs, old and feeble I don't care. I would of been ashamed to be related to her, let alone being one of her kids makes me feel sick…the town police are just as compliant to this cover-up..why was this case not taken out of state, clearly this was going to be a discrimination case with an all white jury in a town with racial prejudice. I don't understand in the movie there was no prosecution or cross examination attorney, just a defence one, it beggars belief! That lying witch Carolyn! Double jeopardy law should not exist in any state period. As soon as I walked out of the cinema I said Emmetts name out loud ..'Emmet Till you lived, and will be remembered'..i will tell my son about his story..Love to the Till family from UK 🙏😔❤️

It’s a shame Emmit Till died the way he did and no justice for his death . It’s a shame Medgar Evers who tried to help Till’s mother ,died fighting as a civil rights leader; murdered shot to death outside his home in Jackson MS. Why is it that white folks so bothered by black people to not let them be left alone without all the hate ? I’m proud of those civil rights leaders , or people of different race who stood up and fought the injustice
Emmett Louis Till died in 1955. I wasn't even thought about, let alone born when this happened, but I still remember learning of the story of his open casket funeral from my great-grandmother. I've been triggered since. Justice is for Carolyn Bryant Donham coming forward. "Mamie Carthan never got Justice!!

Good movie production and amazing actors but VERY factually inaccurate. The white woman who Emmett Till “whistled” at even admitted she lied about the whole incident. I strongly believe that they added false parts to the movie so that white viewers could feel less guilty about his death since he may have deserved it if he did whistle at her.
PLEASE, do not waste money on watching this inaccurate film. Maybe then they’ll portray black trauma correctly and stop white washing everything

Now, Joe Biden was allowed during the timeframe of this movie and was a democrat and and lived in the south and most likely treated people like they are treated in this movie.
