Let me give my views on the Venom Movie Franchise – I’m a self-proclaimed Venom fan, but I do wish the live action films were done exactly the way I wanted them to be – Darker, Violent, Scary, Gritty, Gory, Brooding, Mature, Well Written, R Rated and staying true to the source material in the comics, I’ve read nearly all the Venom comics myself.
At first I enjoyed the Venom movies and I went to see them multiple times at the cinema and later brought them on DVD. But looking back at them, I realised the number of flaws they had such as the PG-13 ratings, forced childish humour/unfunny jokes, badly written screenplays, rushed production, lackluster villains, lack of action or horror, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying and the characterisations of Venom and Carnage in general.
Although the movies did have their moments that were enjoyable and I do unabashedly enjoy them despite their flaws. But they could've been done better.
If I was a filmmaker on all the Venom films myself, I would’ve made them in the exact way as I’ve mentioned it and put all my dedication to them, take all the time and money I need in terms of writing, creativity and filmmaking to get my versions right and staying true to the source material as my love letters to the comics and the Venom lore, so people especially all the Marvel fans and the Venom fanbase who could enjoy over and over again. That’s if they wanna come acourse.
But again the Venom films are part of Sony and "Money" is gonna be always their main priority about them. Especially when it comes to the Marvel films of the character rights they own whether it's Venom or Spider-Man and they always intend to mess with director's visions for them to make them "profitable". It's not about letting filmmakers perfecting their movies.
Say with me if I was directing the Venom Films and wanted to do them my way. Sony and the Producer was say to me "No! We want money, make the movies the way we tell you to do them, add some humour and get them finished!" I would just say to Sony and the producers before filming would begin, telling them I've had enough of their interference and they can do what they want with the Venom films, but I'm not directing them. I Quit!
Despite how the venom films have turned out and what critics, fans, general audiences, comic book fans, commentators and myself have said about them whether we liked them or not and even if Venom 3 turns out to be like the first two movies, the most important thing is…
Sometimes Hollywood can’t always properly adapt comic book characters like Venom to the big screen, but Venom lives on in the comics and in the imagination of fans everywhere.
I Will Always Love Venom, No Matter What 🖤

Venom: Oh SHIT!

Eddie: u need to get out right now i will let u eat every body!
Venom: promise?
Eddie: promise
Venom: Oh Yeah!
Anyone want to tell me why the first venom is on Disney + and not venom let there be carnage???
I miss venom and eddie
This is definitely my favorite trailer of the year. I love how much they're showing Carnage and that unusual yet chilling theme he has.
Thrilling..😮💨
Cheap CGI. This is not good.
I'm a chicken.
So when I told my kids I watched Venom they were… surprised.
I will admit to being a bit concerned about watching Carnage.
Agan: I'm a chicken and Carnage is carnage.
The relationship between Eddie and Venom will be the reason I end up watching it.
I've become a bit invested in seeing then work together.
And – can they take a gory movie and elevate it into more. I'm pretty sure I can't do a gore-fest.
I didn't watch Silence of the Lambs or its spin off series or any other cannibal movie ever.
No Friday the 13th's or Halloween movies.
I did catch a very few seconds of My Bloody Valentine accidentally once and the heart boiling with the hotdogs and the chopped off head on the shelf in the fridge nearly did me in.
I was 17 when Poltergeist came out and me and my 14 year old brother were asked to leave the theater.
Too much screaming.
It's night.
I may wait until morning.
Sony Let me tell you my story WEAREVENOM!
Carnage is Chaos
I love how the word Carnage is in the title but the movie was PG-13
