On 27 October 2022, Elon Musk (soon after Musk took ownership of Twitter) fired him from his position as general counsel and head of legal, public policy, and trust and security leadership.

• When she was three years old, her family relocated to Beaumont, Texas, where her father had previously moved to pursue her graduation.

• After a few months, his family moved to the East Coast and settled in New Jersey, where Vijaya did her schooling.
